Where you'll be working
Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) is one of Australia's leading public health services, delivering exceptional healthcare to more than one million people across Northern Sydney. Renowned for excellence in patient care, research, education and innovation, NSLHD offers a dynamic environment where emerging leaders can make a meaningful contribution while developing their careers. As a Health Management Trainee, you'll be based within the Office of the Chief Executive and undertake rotational placements across a diverse range of operational and corporate health services. You'll work alongside Executive leaders and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to strategic projects, service improvements and organisational priorities while gaining firsthand experience of how one of Australia's largest and most complex health systems operates. Through the Accelerated Health Management Program, you'll gain broad organisational exposure, build lifelong professional networks and develop the leadership capability, strategic thinking and practical management experience required to progress into future leadership roles across NSLHD and the broader NSW Health system.
What you'll be doing
As a Health Management Trainee, you'll rotate across a diverse range of operational and corporate health services, working alongside Executive leaders on real projects that shape the future of healthcare. Along the way, you'll complete a fully funded Master of Health Leadership and Management through the University of New South Wales while benefiting from executive mentoring, coaching, networking and structured leadership development.
