About the work unit / facility:
Charters Towers Health Service is a 23-bed rural facility providing emergency, inpatient, ambulatory, allied health and community health services. As part of the Western Corridor, the service works closely with Richmond and Hughenden Multipurpose Health Services to support rural communities across North Queensland.

About your opportunity:
Join the Western Corridor team as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker (Identified) and help deliver culturally safe, responsive healthcare across Charters Towers, Hugenden and Richmond. You will provide generalist primary health services, support and advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary services to improve health outcomes. Combining clinical care, case management, health education, cultural support and advocacy, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in rural communities.
