Material and Production Planner

Opportunity to evolve your career with this Material & Production Planning role where you'll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly and be the driving force behind the efficient flow of orders and replenishment stock.

Working cross functionally with Production, Sales and Customer Support, you'll coordinate production schedules, monitor order progress, and ensure products are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Your ability to balance capacity, manage constraints, and make informed decisions will directly influence operational performance and on-time delivery.

What your week will involve;

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.

• Maintain clear and concise communication with internal stakeholders

• Monitor parts availability and coordinate procurement to prevent operational and customer delivery delays.

• Act as a proactive problem solver, addressing any obstacles that arise during the order fulfilment process, from material shortages to logistical challenges;

• Provide regular updates on production progress to internal stakeholders.

• Support quality processes by identifying issues and helping drive practical solutions.

• Maintain accurate production, inventory and planning records.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning and operational efficiency.

About you

• Qualifications in Supply Chain Management/ Engineering or related field would be highly regarded

• Demonstrated working experience in a manufacturing environment or automotive industry

• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business systems (ERP/MRP experience such as Pronto/Syteline or similar is an advantage).

• A proactive problem solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across multiple teams.
