Construction Manager | Electrical

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager, or a high-performing supervisor ready to advance, to oversee the onsite delivery of water infrastructure, in an electrical capacity. You will play a key leadership role in one of Victoria's most vital infrastructure programs.

This role goes beyond mere project oversight; it offers you the opportunity to influence safety, culture, and quality in projects that contribute to our renewable energy future.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Lead field teams and subcontractors to deliver project milestones safely, on time, and to spec.
• Manage day-to-day site operations including resource planning, scheduling, and documentation.
• Champion a Zero Harm culture - lead by example in all safety and environmental practices.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure smooth delivery and transparent communication.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, contractual, and Downer standards.
  
  

ABOUT YOU

You're a practical leader who thrives in complex site environments and brings out the best in your team. With a solid grounding in power infrastructure and a commitment to safety, you know how to get things done without cutting corners.

• Trade or tertiary qualified an electrical/mechanical fitters' licence and a certificate IV in WH&S preferred.
• Exposure to, Water, Power Transmission or Substation projects. Solid civil experience also highly regarded.
• Good communication skills with the ability to engage with key stakeholders up and downstream.
