Canon Managed Print Sales Specialist

Emerge IT Solutions is a Canon Authorised Partner and has proudly supported Territory business for over 25 years. From offices in Darwin, Katherine, Alice Springs, Nhulunbuy, Tennant Creek and Adelaide, we deliver Canon managed print and document solutions to government, health, resources, legal and professional services organisations across the NT and South Australia.

We are investing in this line of business, and we are looking for a sales specialist to lead it.

The role

You will own the Canon managed print portfolio across the Territory - the installed fleet, the new business, and the customer relationships behind both.

• Assess client print environments, page volumes and document workflows, and build managed print proposals grounded in real cost and productivity outcomes
• Sell the full Canon solution - imageRUNNER and imageFORCE devices, uniFLOW print management, document capture and workflow automation, and managed document services — not hardware alone
• Position Canon's strengths in document security, sustainability and information management
• Grow the Canon installed base across the NT and expand fleets within our existing managed IT customers
• Respond to NT Government and enterprise tenders
• Protect and renew the existing fleet - retention matters here as much as acquisition
• Work alongside our field service and helpdesk teams, who are in front of customers every week
• Support our South Australian operations on print opportunities

About you

• Experience selling managed print, multifunction devices or comparable B2B technology solutions
• Comfortable reading a fleet, a page volume and a cost-per-page agreement, and explaining all three clearly to a business owner, an IT manager or a CFO
• Able to sell an outcome - lower cost per page, secure document handling, less manual process - rather than a device
• Organised enough to run a territory the size of the Northern Territory
• Current driver's licence, and willing to travel within the NT and occasionally interstate
• Based in Darwin, or genuinely ready to relocate

Canon or managed print experience is ideal. Strong B2B technology sales experience and a willingness to complete Canon product and solution accreditation will also get our attention.

• Uncapped commission tied to the managed print agreements you write, with realistic first-year on-target earnings of $130,000 or more
