We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Civil Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

As a Civil Technician, you will play an important role in supporting our piling and civil construction projects. You will work across various project locations throughout Perth, assisting with technical, site and project-related activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on construction environment and wants to develop their career within the civil and piling industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and site support across civil and piling projects.

• Assist with site measurements, inspections and project documentation.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and specifications.

• Assist with setting out and monitoring works on site.

• Record site information, measurements, progress and quality information.

• Assist project managers, engineers and site supervisors with day-to-day project requirements.

• Monitor construction activities to ensure works are completed in accordance with plans and specifications.

• Assist with quality control and identifying potential issues on site.

• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.

• Follow all workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures.

• Work collaboratively with piling crews, subcontractors, engineers and other project personnel.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Civil Construction or a related field.

• Previous experience in civil construction, piling or a related industry.

• The ability to read and understand civil and engineering drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• A practical, hands-on approach to work.

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

• A current driver's licence and the ability to travel to various project locations across Perth.

Experience in piling, foundations or ground engineering will be highly regarded, but we are also willing to consider candidates with suitable civil construction experience who are looking to develop within the piling industry.
