The role involves managing a portfolio of properties, including coordinating tenant communications, overseeing leasing activities, handling inspections, and ensuring timely rent collection and maintenance. The Property Manager/Entrepreneur will develop and refine property management processes, negotiate with suppliers and contractors, and monitor budgets to support strong financial performance. The role includes identifying growth opportunities, contributing to investment decisions, and implementing strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction and property value. Daily tasks also include maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and collaborating closely with ownership to drive the business forward.QualificationsStrong property management capabilities, including tenant relations, leasing coordination, inspections, and maintenance oversight.Business and entrepreneurial skills, such as budgeting, basic financial analysis, process improvement, and opportunity identification.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants, owners, contractors, and other stakeholders.Organizational and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities.Knowledge of local real estate practices and property-related regulations in the Greater Melbourne Area, or willingness to learn quickly.Comfort working on-site, with a proactive and hands-on approach to addressing property issues and implementing solutions.Previous experience in property management, real estate, or a related field is highly beneficial.Relevant education in property, business, or a related discipline is an advantage but not mandatory for candidates with strong practical experience.
