FULL-TIME SOLID PLASTERER WANTED

At Perfect Touch Rendering, we take pride in delivering quality rendering and plastering finishes for our clients. We are looking for a skilled tradesperson who is dependable, takes pride in their work and wants to become part of a professional team. We are looking for an experienced Solid Plasterer to join our team on a full-time basis.

As a Solid Plasterer, you will be responsible for a range of plastering and rendering work across residential and commercial projects, including:

Duties and Responsibilities

· Preparing walls, ceilings and other surfaces for plastering, rendering and finishing

· Applying and finishing solid plaster, render, cement-based coatings and other suitable materials to internal and external surface

· Measuring, mixing and preparing plaster, mortar, render and other compounds to achieve the required consistency and finish

· Installing and securing plasterboard, fibrous plaster and associated materials where required.

· Repairing and restoring damaged, cracked or deteriorated plaster and rendered surfaces

· Creating smooth, even and accurately finished surfaces using hand tools and plastering equipment

· Applying decorative finishes, textures and coatings according to project specifications

· Checking completed surfaces for straightness, level, alignment and overall quality.

· Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, specifications and measurements to determine the required work

· Setting out work areas and ensuring surfaces are correctly prepared before materials are applied

· Selecting appropriate tools, materials and application techniques for each job

· Maintaining plastering tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, safe and serviceable condition

· Working efficiently with other trades and site personnel to meet project deadlines

· Following workplace health and safety requirements and maintaining a clean and organised worksite

· Completing work to a consistently high standard while meeting project specifications and deadlines

Requirements

· Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Solid Plasterer or in a closely related plastering/rendering role

· Strong practical knowledge of solid plastering, rendering and surface preparation

· Ability to produce clean, consistent and high-quality finishes

· Good understanding of construction plans, measurements and job specifications

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Reliable, punctual and committed to producing quality workmanship

· Strong attention to detail and a professional approach to work

· Physically capable of performing plastering and rendering duties on construction sites

· Commitment to workplace health and safety standards

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year

Work Location: On the road
