Retail Manager

• Support a portfolio of shopping centres that includes Marrickville, Double Bay, Bondi and Surry Hills which will be your primary location.
  
• Build valuable, long-term relationships with a diverse mix of retailers, service providers, and key stakeholders.
  
• We require a NSW real estate licence for this role.
  

Who we’re looking for?

• Current NSW Real Estate Certificate of Registration or willingness to obtain (with our support).
  
• Proven experience in retail or property management, ideally across multi-site portfolios.
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approach.
  
• Familiarity with tenancy systems and compliance processes; Microsoft Office proficiency.
  

The role

Join Knight Frank’s national retail team as a Retail Manager, overseeing the day-to-day operations, presentation, and tenant engagement for a portfolio of shopping centres.
Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of daily retail and tenancy management across multiple centres, ensuring compliance and presentation standards.
  
• Act as the primary contact for tenants, resolving queries promptly and building strong relationships.
  
• Coordinate lease administration, compliance tasks (insurances, bank guarantees), and maintain accurate records.
  
• Monitor rental and control arrears, including issuing arrears letters to tenants.
  
• Support marketing initiatives, retailer engagement, and trading analysis to drive performance.
  
• Assist in co-ordinating casual mall leasing activities.
  
• Partner with facilities and portfolio managers to deliver seamless operations and meet KPIs.
