Ballet & Musical Theatre Teacher Positions

Lyric Dance School Gold Coast, the sister studio of Lyric Dance London, is looking for two passionate and enthusiastic teachers to join our friendly team at Paradise Point Community Centre:

• Ballet Teacher
• Musical Theatre Teacher

We teach children and teens aged 3–17 in a warm, supportive and creative environment, helping students develop not only their technical skills, but also confidence, creativity and a love of performing.

Ballet Teacher

We are looking for an experienced Ballet Teacher to teach our Wednesday afternoon classes:

Wednesdays | 3:30pm – 6:30pm

Classes include ballet and related technique work across different age groups.

Requirements:

• Experience teaching ballet to children and young people
• Strong ballet technique and teaching skills
• Experience with a recognised ballet syllabus, preferably RAD
• Reliable, enthusiastic and professional
• Queensland Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Available for regular weekly classes during school terms

Musical Theatre / Performing Arts Teacher

We are also looking for a creative and energetic Musical Theatre Teacher to teach our Saturday programme:

Saturdays | 9:30am – 1:00pm

Classes include:

• Baby Ballet
• Dance Fusion
• Performing Arts / Musical Theatre

We are looking for someone confident in dance, drama and singing, who can create fun, engaging and age-appropriate lessons for different age groups.

Requirements:

• Experience teaching Musical Theatre / Performing Arts
• Confident teaching dance, drama and singing to children and teens
• Creative, energetic and encouraging teaching style
• Reliable, enthusiastic and professional
• Queensland Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Available for regular Saturday classes during school terms
