Venue Manager

Knoxcorp Hotel Group

We’re looking for a hands-on Venue Manager to drive performance of the existing and future hotel we are currently building.  Stage one is complete with a new bar, dining and Gaming room and Stage 2 extension and accommodation now under construction.

This role is focused on execution, accountability, and results — working directly with Group leadership to lift standards and performance across multiple revenue streams. This isn’t about holding standards, this is about lifting them.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales, GP% and overall venue performance

• Execute head office strategy effectively and on time

• Lead and mentor management team ensuring their professional growth continues

• Oversee stock control, ordering and buying behaviour in line with budgets

• Ensure the Venue event calendar is on point driving increased patronage and revenues

• Identify performance gaps and act quickly to correct them

• Understands the importance of key supplier agreements and compliance to their standards

• Understand the value of a community centric hotel in a country environment

About You

• Strong understanding of GP, stock flow, and margin control

• Ability to lead from the front and drive standards

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

• Clear communicator — direct, honest, and solutions-focused

• Experience in multi-faceted venue operations

Additional Information

This is a hands-on role — you will be working shoulder to shoulder with your teams and driving execution on the ground, but have time to execute a successful business plan alongside senior leadership group.
