About Us

Flanco are a growing civil construction company servicing the mining & resources sector with various ongoing projects running nationwide with a Perth and Goldfields division.

Our projects generally run from 3-6 months with crews moving from project to project providing variety and ongoing work. Common scope of works would be mills, crushers, concrete thickeners, conveyor footings and stockyards, tunnels, power stations and paste plants.

Flanco runs lean on the ground with small to medium size crews from 5-30. All rounders and candidates who demonstrate longevity in employment, have strong work ethic and team attitude who enjoy working alongside and helping out other concreters, steel fixers and operators will be highly regarded.

We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Batch Plant Operator to maintain batch plant operations to ensure timely delivery of concrete.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements: 

• Experienced Batch Plant Operator - concrete batching experience (fixed/mobile) and making of all concrete products
• Excavator ticket and other operating tickets highly advantageous
• Current HR license, Front end loader and experience driving an agitator truck
• Sound knowledge of concrete, including identifying class of concrete, slump, cement types and water/cement ratios
• Ability to carry out concrete cylinder tests (preferred not essential)
• Ability to operate independently
• White Card (construction)
• National Police Clearance (or ability to get one)
• Australian Work rights
• Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and LAB Drug and Alcohol prior to start work and ongoing during employment
