Spa reception/bathhouse attendant

About the role

We're looking for a warm, grounded and capable person who genuinely values wellbeing and takes pride in helping create a calm, restorative experience for every guest who comes through Savoy.

Join the Savoy Day Spa reception team for approximately two evening shifts per week, with some weekend work potentially available. This is an active operational role combining guest service, bookings, and daily running, presentation and maintenance of the bathhouse.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients with warmth and professionalism

• Manage bookings, phone calls, and front desk flow

• Support the team with admin and day-to-day coordination

• Help keep the space running smoothly and beautifully

• Laundry, towel management, restocking and general housekeeping

• Regularly check the pool, spas, sauna and steam room

• Water testing and recording results

• Assist with spa and pool chemical management and basic maintenance (full training provided)

• Support therapists and the wider team as needed

• Opening and/or closing the business

About you

• Naturally warm and friendly, clear and confident in communication

• Organised, efficient, and great at multitasking

• Comfortable using computers and booking systems (training provided)

• Calm under pressure, able to think on your feet, with a can-do attitude

• Able to manage a busy workload

• Can follow procedures carefully, particularly around water testing, chemicals and safety

• Available for weeknight shifts (5-8pm) and potentially 3-4 hours on a Saturday and occasional Sundays

• 18 years or older, and no longer attending high school or college
