Dental Assistant

Shellharbour Village Dental is currently seeking a dental assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a dental practice and possess strong communication and organisational skills.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive chair-side assistance during various dental procedures.

• Ensure adherence to sterilisation protocols and high standards of infection control.

• Knowledge of Dentally software is an added advantage.

• Ensure surgery is properly stocked and materials kept in date.

• Comfortable with receptionist duties if required.
   

Skills and experience:

• Prior experience as a dental assistant is required.

• Completion of a Certificate III in Dental Assisting is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills.

• Proven ability to manage time effectively and maintain punctuality.

• Possess a positive attitude, self-motivated and willing to learn and undertake required training.
