 About the Role

We are seeking a professional, motivated, and reliable Experienced A-Grade Electrician to join our Melbourne-based team. This permanent position is ideal for an experienced electrician ready to take the next step into a leadership role, overseeing works across supermarket, retail, commercial, and construction projects throughout Victoria.

The role involves leading small teams on-site, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Projects may occasionally require working away from home and participating in rotating day/night shifts.

 Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise on-site electrical works, including allocation of daily tasks and coordination of labour

• Ensure compliance with all relevant OH&S legislation, site-specific procedures, and safety policies

• Install, test, commission, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, apparatus, and fixtures in accordance with current Australian Standards

• Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and mentoring to apprentices and trainees

• Monitor and manage consumables, materials, and tools on site

• Maintain accurate and organised records of works completed, defects, and service tasks

• Liaise professionally with clients, site supervisors, and internal management

• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required

• Carry out other reasonable duties within the scope of the role

 Key Licences, Skills & Experience

• Unrestricted Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence

• Current OHS Induction Card

• Construction Industry White Card

• Australian Permanent Residency

• Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical environments

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams without direct supervision

• Strong knowledge of current electrical standards and regulatory requirements

• Experience in control wiring and/or commercial property infrastructure (highly regarded)

• Computer and mobile device literacy

• Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills

• Strong organisational skills and punctuality

• A proactive, can-do attitude with strong written and verbal communication
