A Grade Electrician/Excavator Operator

Our company is based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne and we provide domestic electrical installation for our clients which includes the installation of both underground and above ground wiring for new homes and multi-unit developments. We pride ourselves on providing professional service in all facets of our business.

The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for an intelligent, confident and committed person to join our team who is an experienced Excavator Operator.

·         Western Suburbs location

·         Immediate Start

·         Full time position – with overtime available

The Role:

·         Operating an excavator, installing conduits & pits and other underground projects.

·         Must be willing to assist with labouring duties when required.

We work with many of Victorias leading builders and are looking for an electrician with relevant experience to join out team. We require a qualified electrician to install underground consumer mains and metering to multi-unit developments and residential homes. Excavator experience and a truck license are required.

The Ideal Candidate:

·         Competency ticket excavator (LE)

·         Construction Induction (white or red card)

·         Advanced experience operation excavator

·         MR/HR vehicle licence and drivers licence

·         Must be able to work autonomously

·         Punctual and has excellent communication skills

·         Clean safety record

·         Clear thinker in a faced paced environment with proven ability to meet deadlines.

·         This is a hands on position – need to be physically fit

·         Be trustworthy, hardworking and take pride in their work

·         Have a high OH & S Standard
