MC Truck Driver, Interstate Sydney Based

We are currently seeking to employ an experienced and qualified Interstate Truck Driver, to join our team based out of the Waverley Forklifts Smithfield NSW branch.

The Role:

As part of our Transport Fleet, this role involves the following core duties, functions and opportunities:

• Driving late model Kenworth B Double drop deck ramp trailer, flat top A trailer, well maintained and presented

• Extensive earnings potential

• Loading, unloading and restraining a wide variety of access machinery and material handling equipment

• Restraining freight in a compliant manner

• Maintaining a good standard of personal & vehicle presentation

• Navigating and transporting efficiently from Sydney, interstate

• Being part of a team of new and long-term employees committed to continual improvement in a supportive environment

• Well managed induction process and ongoing training provided

The Right Person for the Role:

The successful candidate must be an individual who is experienced and skilled in a professional driving role. You enjoy the daily challenge, are self-motivated and approach a role with a positive, can-do attitude.

Specifically, you display the following:

• Must have a minimum MC licence, non synchro, with recent roadranger trasnmission experience

• Recent experience transporting forklift & access equipment, with an understanding and ability to load & restrain using dogs and chains

• Forklift Licence and Basic Fatigue Management accreditation preferred

• Willingness to be an integral part of the team and work autonomously when required

• Good personal presentation and outstanding customer service
