Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Registrars to join the Obstetric & Gynaecology team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
The Role:
We have multiple opportunities for motivatedObstetrics & Gynaecology Registrars (Unaccredited)to join the team at Northern Health.
This role requiresthe provision of appropriate care to inpatients and outpatients of the O&G Department, and provision of a consultative service for patients of other departments. Ensure supervision for the junior medical officers and to provide support for the senior medical staff in the care of patients under other departments within the health service.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience and good working knowledge of the associated clinical problems related to the day-to-day management of all O&G patientsSatisfactorily completed at least two years of postgraduate hospital experience in Australia, New Zealand, or a recognised equivalentMedical registration with the Medical Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
