Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $77,000 + Superannuation

Biwon is a Korean restaurant located in Eastwood.
We offer Korean-chinese style dishes in a fast-paced dining environment.

We are currently seeking a full-time Chef to join our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

• Cooking stir-frired korean/chinese dishes on wok

• Preparation of meat and vegetables cut into exact sizes

• Preparing and cooking noodles (all stages from flour mix to cooking)

• Storage of ingredients and flour mix in correct temperatures

• Maintaining food quality and presentation standards

• Ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance

• Assisting with stock control and inventory management

• Supervising and training other kitchen staffs and cooks

• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

Requirements

• Relevant experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen

• Experience with Korean or chinese cuisine preferred

• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Good teamwork and leadership skills

• Availability to work weekends and public holidays
