Team Leader - Property Management

We’re seeking a Property Management Team Leader to guide, mentor, and inspire a team of 10; made up of Property Managers and leasing assistants. This is a hands-on leadership role where your main focus is to provide support and guidance to your team (you will not have a portfolio of your own). You will be reporting into the General Manager of Property Management.

What you’ll be doing

• Mentor, train, and support a team made up of; Property Managers, Property Consultants and a BDM
• Oversee day-to-day property management operations with a focus on quality service and compliance
• Ensure Rental Providers are kept up to date, arrears are managed, and inspections/reviews are completed on time
• Represent clients at VCAT hearings and manage tribunal paperwork when required
• Drive new business opportunities and minimise lost managements
• Provide hands-on support by covering Property Managers when needed
• Other ad hoc duties in line with a Team Leader

What you’ll bring:

• Extensive experience in residential Property Management and a deep understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act
• Prior Team Leader experience in Property Management
• Strong leadership, mentoring and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle demanding situations professionally
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Current Agent’s Representative Certificate (essential)
