Nepean is currently seeking Trade Qualified hands- on CNC Machinists to join their teams at their New South Wales (NSW) and Queensland (QLD) manufacturing facilities. We offer full-time permanent employment and short-term 3-6 months' non-ongoing contracts with above-award pay rates fully guaranteed under current workplace regulations.

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the set-up and programming of large CNC Machines including Borers, Mills and Lathes for jobbing work. As well as be able to operate a range of controllers and be proficient in reading and understanding engineering drawings for precision machining. This role requires the CNC Machinist to work to ISO9000 standards including checking and maintaining quality, filling out check sheets.

To be successful within this role you must have a proven track record of achievement in a similar role and ideally having extensive experience within the industrial/mining/manufacturing industries. In addition to the above the successful candidate should be a self- starter, reliable punctual, and a team player who is familiar with using safe working methods and has a high attention to detail. This role will provide you the opportunity to work with the best engineering.
