Disability Support Worker

Part-Time or Casual | $35–$40/hr | 20+ Hours/Week

Looking for a support role with stable hours, consistent shifts and no driving between clients all day?

Diversey Care is looking for an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our established SIL team in Capalaba.

• 20+ consistent hours per week

• Regular, predictable roster and shift times

• Long shifts – most shifts are 4 hours+

• One regular SIL location – no travelling between multiple clients every day

• Work alongside an experienced senior support team

• Great opportunity to learn from experienced staff

• Support the same participants and build genuine relationships

• Ongoing training and professional development

• Sponsorship opportunity for a good worker after probation

• Minimum 1 year disability support experience

• Must have experience working with non-verbal participants AND be able to do sleepovers

• Must have experience dealing with Tonic seizures

• Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support or Family Support.

• NDIS Worker Screening and Blue Card

• Current First Aid and CPR

• Open Driver Licence and reliable vehicle

• Comfortable providing personal care, including feeding, toileting, showering and pad changing

• Reliable, responsible and confident working as part of a team
