POP MART is a global pop-culture and designer-toy brand with 550+ stores and 2,300 Robo Shops across 30+ countries. As we continue to expand across Australia and New Zealand, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Sales Associate to join our growing retail team.

This role is ideal for a strong retailer who enjoys taking ownership, leading by example, and supporting store leadership. As a Senior Sales Associate, you'll act as a key support partner to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, helping drive daily operations, uphold store standards, and confidently lead shifts when required.

What You'll Do

Lead Shifts & Support Store Leadership

Take ownership of daily store operations during assigned shiftsOpen and close the store in accordance with company proceduresAct as the senior team member on duty when Store Management is not presentSupport the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in delivering key business objectivesMake confident decisions and resolve operational or customer issues as they ariseEnsure company policies, procedures and store standards are consistently upheld

Deliver Outstanding Customer Experiences

Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer serviceBuild genuine connections with customers, fans and collectorsShare product knowledge and introduce new collections with confidenceDrive sales through upselling, cross-selling and customer engagementHandle customer enquiries and escalations professionally and effectively

Support Team Performance

Support the onboarding and training of new team membersProvide coaching and day-to-day guidance to Sales AssociatesLead by example and set the standard for customer service and store executionHelp foster a positive, accountable and high-performing team cultureSupport productivity and service standards during peak trading periods and major product launches

Maintain Operational Excellence

Support inventory accuracy, stock management and merchandising standardsAssist with stocktakes, deliveries and product launchesMonitor store presentation and take ownership of maintaining a customer-ready environmentProcess transactions accurately and support loss prevention initiativesEnsure opening, trading and closing routines are completed accurately and on time

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2 years' retail experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environmentPrevious experience as a Senior Sales Associate, Keyholder, Team Leader or similar role highly regardedExperience opening and closing a retail storeDemonstrated ability to support, coach and motivate team membersStrong understanding of retail operations, customer service and store standardsAbility to take accountability for store performance during assigned shiftsStrong communication and organisational skills

Full-Time Availability Requirements

This is a permanent full-time position averaging 38 hours per week.Flexible availability across all 7 days is required.Typical rosters include weekends, late-night trading and public holidays.We aim to provide structured rosters with two consecutive days off in a standard week, supporting work-life balance and roster consistency.As a retail business, flexibility is required throughout the week to support customer demand, peak trading periods and special events.Availability throughout our peak trading season (November to January) is essential.
