About the role
Breakaway Toowoomba Inc. (Breakaway) has been supporting people with disability across the Toowoomba region since 1986. What started as a small, family-based respite service has grown into a trusted local provider delivering a wide range of supports, including independent living, respite, community participation, in-home support, and day services.
With over 130 local staff, our focus remains firmly on delivering high-quality, person-centred care while continuing to invest in our people, systems, and infrastructure. Our vision is to be a leading provider in disability and human services, delivering reliable, connected, and quality support that empowers clients and their families.
At Breakaway, you are not just joining a team – you are becoming part of a purpose-driven organisation committed to inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support clients with chronic and complex disability and health needs within our Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and community settings.
Working alongside a supportive team of Nurses and Disability Support Workers, you will play a key role in assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating client care. You will collaborate closely with the Clinical Lead to ensure high-quality, compliant, and person-centred outcomes.
