Commercial Litigation & Criminal Lawyer

As our practice continues to grow, we are now looking for a commercial litigation / criminal Lawyer to join our team.

This role would suit someone who:

• Is admitted to practice in NSW and holds a current practising certificate

• Has at least 2 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation / criminal law

• Has experience appearing in Local, District & Supreme Courts

• Is confident managing their own matters and files from commencement through to resolution

• Enjoys advocating for clients and providing practical, strategic advice

• Communicates clearly and professionally with clients, prosecutors, courts and other stakeholders

• Takes pride in preparation, attention to detail, negotiation skills and strong courtroom advocacy

• Values long-term client relationships and wants to be part of a firm with a proud local legacy

You will work alongside experienced practitioners on a broad range of:

1. Litigation matters including acting in proceedings in the Local Court, District Court, Supreme Court and FCFOA

2. Criminal law matters, including summary and indictable offences, AVO proceedings, bail applications, defended hearings, sentencing matters and appeals.

More importantly, you will be helping clients through some of the most stressful and uncertain periods of their lives. You will play a key role in guiding clients through the legal process, protecting their interests and ensuring they feel informed and supported at every stage of their matter.
