About the department

About Tourism Investment Delivery Division

Tourism Investment Delivery Division supports tourism projects of state priority, through case management, streamlining investment pathways and by facilitating cross-agency collaboration. The Division is also responsible for delivering regular whole-of-government progress reports on tourism investment projects. It undertakes tourism precinct planning to establish frameworks to guide development, land-use and infrastructure coordination to inform optimal tourism investment decisions.

About the role

In this role, you will lead and manage complex projects focused on identifying and progressing tourism investment opportunities. You will draw on your strong research, analytical and project management skills to assess complex information, identify opportunities and provide strategic advice that supports key investment outcomes.

Working collaboratively across government, industry and other stakeholders, you will build and maintain strong relationships, solve complex problems and help drive investment opportunities from concept through to delivery. Your ability to analyse data, understand market trends and translate complex information into clear, actionable insights will be highly valued.

Candidates with an understanding of precinct planning, tourism development or investment attraction will be well considered. This is an opportunity to contribute to projects that will shape the future of tourism and support sustainable economic growth.

We have one permanent, full time (75hrs p/f) position available.

This role is based at 140 William St, Perth.
