About the role

Tecsec Security Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Technician to join our team. You'll be working with business-to-business clients across Perth and WA, delivering professional installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a wide range of Security Systems including Alarm, Access Control, CCTV systems and Intercoms.

Security Technician – CCTV | Alarm | Access Control (Commercial)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service CCTV, Alarms, Access Control Systems and Intercoms.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex security and networking issues

• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs

• Liaise with clients to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation

• Ensure all work complies with Australian standards and WHS requirements

What You Bring

• 3+ years' experience in the electronic security industry.

• Strong knowledge of commercial alarm & access control systems (multi-brand)

• Experience with IP-based CCTV and networking fundamentals

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• WA Security installer's licence, valid driver's licence, White Card and EWP.

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Current ACMA Open Cabling Licence (required)

Highly Regarded Skills

• Certified with Inner Range, Tecom, Bosch, Gallagher, or similar

• Certified with Milestone or similar

• Understanding of structured cabling, wireless networks, and integration

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings
