Campbell's Northmead is a proud part of the Metcash Group with a long-standing history of supporting wholesale customers, the site services a broad range of wholesale business through both a customer-facing front counter and a busy dispatch operation.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our Northmead team.This is a varied and rewarding full-time opportunity, with flexibility to consider ongoing casual employment for the right candidate that combines customer service, administration and reception responsibilities. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping to deliver outstanding service while supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and is looking to build a long-term career with a stable and respected organisation.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with flexibility to consider ongoing casual with a view to permanency)
• Monday to Friday
• Approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm (38 hours per week)

In this Role

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email and face-to-face interactions
• Welcome customers and visitors at the front counter
• Manage reception and general administrative duties
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Follow up customer accounts and maintain accurate records
• Assist with branch administration, promotions and signage activities
• Conduct occasional outbound calls to existing customers
• Support the broader team to ensure smooth daily operations

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, great communication skills and a genuine passion for helping customers.

• Customer service, retail, reception or administration experience
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Confidence speaking with customers both in person and over the phone
• The ability to handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally
• Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly
• A proactive, resilient and adaptable approach to work
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Availability to work full-time Monday to Friday
