ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to the expansive region we look after, from the Central Coast and West too Tamworth and North to Coffs Harbour, our region is exploding with growth across people and businesses, an exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic team member to join our Newcastle Air & Ocean Sales Team in a key Sales role. Learning everything from the ground up.

This is a well sought-after role. The region is booming, the branch is growing and for those wanting to accelerate their career in a Sales, the role will benefit being a part of a successful Branch renowned for handling imports and exports covering a huge region.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

• A structured training plan in order to educate and provide you with every opportunity to develop and succeed in the role moving into Sales.

• Learning Import and Exports operations.

• Quoting across all key ocean freight products – imports, exports, and brokerage

• Assistance in preparation of new business proposals and presentations, working closely with our Imports and Exports team and learning the customer service.

• Qualification and assignment of inbound new business leads.

• Learn the complexities of a changing international freight market and be on the front line of finding innovative solutions to gain new business and generate revenue and profit growth for our branch

• Exposure to the wider business including Air Freight, Perishables, Warehousing, Ports and Wharves and Domestic Transport

• Attending internal and external sales meetings and skills training sessions

• Regular de-briefs with the Branch Manager

• Cross department training opportunities learning Air & Ocean operations
