The Opportunity

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Remedial Massage Therapist to join our thriving, close-knit team at Mid North Coast Allied Health. Based primarily at our Woolgoolga clinic, this role offers part-time, casual or contractor opportunities, with the flexibility to build a schedule around your availability and preferences.

While Woolgoolga will be your primary location, you may occasionally provide coverage at our clinics in Urunga, Coffs Harbour and Moonee Beach.

Your key duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Stepping into an established, referral-fed caseload from day one - and growing it!

• Providing high-quality remedial massage therapy to our clients, tailored to their individual needs and preferences.

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify clients' areas of concern and developing personalised treatment plans.

• Utilising a variety of massage techniques to address musculoskeletal issues, reduce pain and improve mobility.

• Educating clients on self-care practices and techniques to maintain the benefits of massage therapy.

• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a private practice and clinical setting.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have experience assessing clients, understanding their needs and delivering effective soft tissue techniques. You’ll work alongside our multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians, Occupational Therapists and Remedial Massage Therapists, while delivering exceptional service and creating memorable client experiences.

You’ll also have strong communication skills and a client-centred approach, along with the ability to deliver outstanding relaxation, sports and remedial massage. A commitment to continually developing your knowledge and clinical skills is highly valued.

To be considered, you’ll hold a Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent, current membership with a recognised professional association, health fund provider status and a current Working with Children Check.
