AGS (Architectural Glass Solutions) is a family-owned and operated Queensland business. Based in Cooroy on the Sunshine Coast, we manufacture, supply and install high-quality aluminium door, window and glazing systems across the Sunshine Coast, Gympie and surrounding regions.

Our work spans a diverse range of products and projects, including residential supply-only and architecturally designed homes through to commercial and industrial developments. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for another experienced Aluminium Door & Window Fabricator to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aluminium Door & Window Fabricator for an immediate start at our Cooroy facility.

This is a hands-on role involving the fabrication, assembly of aluminium door and window systems to a high standard. You will work with modern fabrication equipment, hand tools and technical specifications to produce quality products that meet customer requirements and industry standards.

No two days are the same, with opportunities to work on a wide variety of residential, architectural and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble aluminium doors, windows and framing systems

• Operate saws, hydraulic & pneumatic punches as well as hand tools

• Read and interpret fabrication reports, technical drawings and specifications

• Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process

• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet schedules and deadlines

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment

• Contribute to continuous improvement and workplace efficiency

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience fabricating aluminium doors and windows

• Strong skills using hand tools and fabrication equipment

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, reports and specifications

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Good communication skills and a positive team attitude

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Reliability, punctuality and pride in your work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience with residential and/or commercial aluminium systems

• Glazing qualification or relevant industry experience
