Digital Marketing Coordinator

FUNDAMENTAL PURPOSE:

The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of digital marketing, eCommerce, and website activities across PPG Architectural brands in Australia and New Zealand.

This role focuses on hands on delivery, coordination, and optimisation of digital campaigns, content, and website updates. The Coordinator works closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist, internal teams, and external partners to ensure consistent execution aligned to brand, marketing, and sales objectives.

The position is delivery focused, providing reliable support to ensure digital initiatives are executed efficiently, accurately, and on time.

Website and Content Management:

• Support website updates, enhancements, and relaunch activities
• Support retailer and owned platform content management, including assisting with product uploads, content updates, and ongoing optimisation of digital shelf presence
• Assist in maintaining product information, imagery, and content attributes across multiple platforms to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Support the implementation of brand updates, product changes and relaunch activities across digital channels, ensuring alignment across assets and platforms
• Contribute to improving content discoverability by applying SEO and GEO best practices under guidance
• Ensure content follows digital best practice and supports digital shelf effectiveness
• Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy, usability, and consistency across platforms

Social Media & Content Support:

• Assist in creating and publishing social media and digital content aligned to brand guidelines
• Ensure consistency of messaging, tone of voice, and visual standards
• Monitor competitor activity and highlight content opportunities
• Support the creation of social content, including contributing to content capture and short form video development with guidance from the Digital Marketing Specialist
• Assist in editing and preparing content for social channels using relevant tools, with a focus on creating engaging and platform appropriate assets
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and contributors to support content creation and delivery
• Assist in coordinating external agencies and partners to deliver social and digital content aligned to campaign and brand requirements
• Support influencer and content creator activity, including identifying opportunities and assisting with coordination of collaborations
• Work with digital and media partners to support content amplification activity, including paid and boosted social execution

Analytics and Reporting:

• Monitor campaign and website performance using established KPIs
• Assist in preparing performance reports
• Support optimisation of content and campaigns based on performance trends

Stakeholder and Agency Coordination:

• Work collaboratively with brand, sales and digital teams to support aligned outcomes
• Coordinate with external agencies to ensure delivery of briefs and assets
• Build and maintain effective working relationships across stakeholders

• Implement and maintain company policies and procedures
• Perform role in accordance with PPG corporate values

REQUIRES: (Functional/Technical Skills & Knowledge)

• Tertiary qualification in marketing, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 1 to 2 years of experience in digital marketing or a related role
• Foundational understanding of digital marketing channels and platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Basic analytical skills with ability to interpret performance data
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Interest in digital content, social media and emerging platforms, with a willingness to learn and develop practical skills
• Exposure to content management systems, retailer platforms, or digital tools is advantageous
• Basic understanding of search, content optimisation, or digital performance principles is desirable
