About us

No To Violence (NTV) is Australia’s peak body for individuals and organisations that work with men that use violence. We provide training, sector development and advocacy across the sector. We operate the Men’s Referral Service, providing a counselling service and referral pathways directly to men who use violence. As a pro-feminist organisation, women and children are at the centre of what we do - by ending men’s use of family violence, families, individuals, and communities are safer.

As Head of Learning & Workforce Development, you'll lead the team responsible for designing and delivering high-quality learning and workforce development initiatives that strengthen capability across the specialist men's family violence sector. You'll work with colleagues across policy, research and practice to turn evidence into practical learning that supports professionals working with men who use violence. This is an opportunity to shape new learning products, build strategic partnerships and drive continuous improvement in a nationally significant organisation. The role is based in Melbourne or Sydney with flexible working arrangements and occasional interstate travel.

About you

You'll bring a combination of strategic leadership, learning expertise and a passion for strengthening workforce capability. You thrive on working collaboratively, building relationships and turning ideas into practical outcomes that make a difference.

To be successful, you'll have:

• Experience leading learning, workforce development or training functions.
• A track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Expertise in designing and delivering evidence-informed learning and capability initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience building partnerships across government, education or the community sector.

An understanding of the gendered nature of family violence and a commitment to strengthening practice in the specialist men's family violence sector.
