About the role
We’re looking for a Mental Health Integrated Care Manager to lead a dynamic team and Capital Health Network’s (CHN) Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Program. The Manager will work collaboratively with CHN business units and external stakeholders to develop and deliver projects and programs that improve mental health service and system integration. You will also manage staff performance and team-level resources and budgets to support program objectives and maintain oversight of service contracts and commissioning activities across mental health program areas.
You’ll play a crucial role in delivering activities in line with the ACT Regional Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Plan and Commonwealth funding requirements.
About the team
Reporting to Senior Manager Health System Integration, the Mental Health Integrated Care Manager sits within the Health System Integration business unit. This business unit delivers a range of projects and programs focused on integration and coordination across the health system and further collaborates with other business units to support and enable commissioning and capacity building across the ACT’s primary care sector.

You are a skilled leader with experience in managing a small team to deliver high impact projects in a complex environment. You will have a strong background in mental health, suicide prevention, alcohol and other drugs, regional planning, primary care, health systems or other relevant fields. You’ll spend time building and maintaining strategic partnerships with key sector stakeholders, including policy makers, subject matter experts, peak bodies, service providers and community members, to deliver projects, identify gaps, monitor trends and emerging issues and evaluate outcomes.
Your leadership, management experience, stakeholder engagement skills and experience in health sector will contribute to local delivery of national health policy and support CHN’s strategic objectives, specifically coordinating and integrating care through:

Position Salary: $56.48 per hour (approximately $111,958 per annum) plus superannuation
Employment type: Permanent, Full time
Working Days/hours: Full time standard
