Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Trade Counter Sales Consultant to join our team in Dubbo.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service, building strong customer relationships, and supporting sales growth across our product range.

Your day will include:

• Assisting customers at the trade counter and over the phone

• Processing sales orders, quotations and invoices

• Providing product advice and solutions to trade and retail customers

• Coordinating customer orders and deliveries

• Supporting stock management and inventory control processes

• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

• Working collaboratively with the yard, warehouse and sales teams

• Contributing to sales targets and business growth initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• Previous experience in retail sales, trade sales, customer service or building supplies 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive and positive attitude

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Confidence using computer systems and point-of-sale software

• The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

Highly Regarded

• Experience within the building, construction, hardware, plumbing or industrial supply industries

• Knowledge of building materials and construction products

• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
