Plant Manager

About the role

Our production site is seeking a Plant Manager to become part of our team. You will be trained across all aspects of the business operation. Working in a fast-paced environment, you would be technically/mechanically minded with a clear focus on multiple tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the manufacturing facility operates at peak efficiency

• Maintain Quality Assurance and Workplace Health and Safety requirements

• Oversee production of premium quality products and best customer service

• Implement and maintain best practice plant hygiene and maintenance standards at the site

• Adhere to Environmental management practices and regulations

• Manage efficient production scheduling and planning to fully utilize plant capabilities

• Manage inventory control system incorporating accurate stock takes and full traceability of raw material usage

• Manage the supply of all materials into the site

• Report on actual performance results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as required

About you

• 3+ years in a similar role

• Organizational and planning skills

• Leadership and decision-making abilities, with teamwork focus

• Demonstrated problem solving skills with attention to detail

• Ability to communicate at all levels

• Microsoft computer literacy across all programs

• Enthusiastic and eager to learn and grow

• Self-motivated and a team player

• Able to work unsupervised

• Strong focus on workplace health and safety
