Assistant SMSF Manager

Watson & Hegarty is seeking an experienced Assistant SMSF Manager to join our established SMSF team.

This is a senior technical and review role, working closely with our SMSF Manager to manage complex SMSF matters, review work prepared by other team members, respond to audit queries and provide practical guidance to less experienced staff.

The successful applicant will take ownership of an agreed portfolio of work, liaise directly with clients, auditors and advisers, and help maintain the quality, efficiency and consistency of the team's work.

This role may also suit an experienced accountant from a broader practice background who is looking to move into an SMSF specialisation.

The role is available on a permanent part-time basis, with flexibility to work either three to four days per week or five shorter days.
