Medical Sales Representative - Orthopaedics Perth

THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking a Medical Device Sales Representative - Orthopaedics to drive and grow a market-leading orthopaedic portfolio across Perth. You will partner closely with orthopaedic surgeons, theatre staff, and key hospital stakeholders to support existing business while identifying opportunities for continued growth.

This is a business development-focused role that combines account management, customer engagement, theatre support, and strategic territory planning. You will take ownership of an established territory, providing exceptional service while supporting the adoption of innovative orthopaedic technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take full ownership of a high-value orthopaedic territory across key Perth hospital accounts.
• Drive sales performance and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with orthopaedic surgeons and key hospital stakeholders.
• Provide outstanding clinical support during surgical procedures and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Develop extensive clinical and product knowledge across the orthopaedic portfolio.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.
• Partner closely with the wider orthopaedic team to execute strategic growth initiatives.
• Manage territory planning, account strategies, and operating theatre case coverage.
• Travel within the territory, including occasional regional travel as required.

ABOUT YOU:

• 2+ years' experience in medical device sales (orthopaedics experience highly regarded) with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a territory, identify growth opportunities, and build trusted relationships with surgeons and hospital stakeholders.
• Experience working within hospital environments and supporting clinicians in theatre is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Commercially driven with a proactive, resilient, and results-focused mindset.
• A genuine passion for improving patient outcomes and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
