About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant Intern to join our commercial team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a background in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction, who can read and interpret technical drawings and has a commercial mindset.You will work closely with our estimating and sales teams, supporting client enquiries, preparing quotes, and assisting with project costings. This is a hands-on role with regular site visits and client meetings, giving you direct exposure to the commercial side of the joinery and construction industry.This internship runs through to December 2026, with a clear pathway to a permanent role in January 2027 for the right candidate.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with preparing quotes, estimates and tender submissionsRead and interpret architectural and joinery drawingsSupport the sales team with client communications and bid preparationConduct site visits to measure and assess project requirementsLiaise with internal teams, including production and installation, Mandarin speaking is a mustAssist with proposal documentation and client follow-upSupport basic costing and pricing activities
About YouRecent graduate in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldAbility to read construction and joinery drawings (essential)Previous sales or client-facing experience (highly regarded)Strong numeracy and communication skillsA proactive, commercially-minded attitudeFull Australian working rights
