SwingShift Nurses was established in 2000 and since that time has built an enviable reputation as one of the most highly regarded Nursing Agencies in Melbourne. The Agency facilitates the casual placement of Nurses to hospitals and health care facilities across Melbourne.

About the role

This is a full time position. Business hours are from 5am-11pm, 365 days/year and you will be required to work on a rolling roster; inclusive of weekdays, weekends and public holidays. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Taking and directing inbound calls as well as making outbound calls
• Contacting nurses and updating bookings/ availabilities in the rostering system
• Entering and filling shifts through the allocations system
• Candidate care - ongoing communication with our nurses

Skills and experience

To be successful for this role you will have proven experience working in a fast paced position within a similar customer service setting and will possess the following: 

• Have a strong work ethic, high attention to detail and a professional phone manner
• Be a team player with a high level of availability and flexibility to work early, late and weekend shifts as required
• Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, nurses and clients
• Capability and willingness to learn new systems and processes 
• Administration/ Healthcare / Receptionist and / or Call Centre experience is desirable however not essential
