Role Description This part-time Data Analyst (Entry / Junior) role is a hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW, with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility. The Data Analyst will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing project and operational data from various sources. Day-to-day tasks include performing basic data analysis, preparing reports and dashboards, and supporting data modeling activities to help improve forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking. The role involves collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to clarify data requirements, document findings, and present insights in a clear and accessible format. The Data Analyst will also help maintain data quality standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics processes and tools.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities for interpreting project and operational data.Candidates should possess knowledge of Statistics and basic Data Modeling to support forecasting and performance analysis.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to explain data findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools, and exposure to data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.Relevant coursework or a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate within cross-functional teams.Attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and an interest in applying data insights within the construction industry.
