About the role
Some of our best people didn't come from quarries or block yards — they came off farms. If you've run machinery, kept gear going with whatever was on hand, managed your own time without someone standing over you, and just get things done — we want to talk to you.
We're a small, established block manufacturing operation in The Lakes area (20 min from Mundaring, 25 min from Northam), and we're looking for our next Site Supervisor. Our current supervisor is relocating with his family and stays on until December specifically to train his replacement properly — so you're not walking into chaos, you're walking into a real handover.
Not the right fit if you're:
✗ After a desk job or a title with no hands-on work attached
✗ Not comfortable operating a wheel loader — this is a working supervisor role
✗ Without a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (no bus route out here)
✗ Not willing to have the hard conversations when the crew needs pulling into line
You're exactly who we want if you:
✓ Have farm, ag, or rural machinery experience — loaders, tractors, plant, general mechanical know-how
✓ Are handy — can improvise a fix, keep gear running, and don't wait for someone else to sort a problem
✓ Have a strong work ethic and expect the same from people around you
✓ Have led a team, a crew, or run your own patch before
✓ Are willing to learn batching — full training provided
✓ Are authorised to work in Australia
What you'll be doing:
→ Running the site day to day — pre-starts, toolbox meetings, rosters, timesheets
→ Getting on the loader yourself as part of the daily routine
→ Running the batch plant once trained, and keeping quality on spec
→ Keeping the crew safe, the site compliant, and standards up
→ Reporting to the Maintenance and Processing Manager
