Overview
The Maria Montessori School is a vibrant, joyful and authentic Montessori environment for children aged 2.5–16, with sites in Hampstead, Notting Hill and Bayswater. We are a well-established and highly regarded school community, committed to high-quality Montessori practice, where both children and adults thrive.
We are seeking an AMI 6-12 trained Montessori Teacher to lead one of our well-established Elementary environments. This is a rare opportunity to shape a thriving environment and lead a committed team in delivering Montessori education to the highest standard.
The Role
As Lead Teacher, you will take full responsibility for your Elementary class, shaping a calm, purposeful and beautiful Montessori environment while leading and inspiring your classroom team.
You Will
Guide each child’s development with care, insight and respectDemonstrate strong knowledge of Montessori materials and child developmentLead with clarity, fostering a collaborative and professional team cultureBuild positive, professional relationships with familiesContribute to the wider life of the school
We are looking for a confident and reflective Montessori practitioner who:
Holds an AMI 6-12 Diploma and has experience of working with childrenBrings strong leadership, organisation and clear communicationBuilds relationships with ease and professionalismIs committed to safeguarding, equity and inclusion
