Oral Health Therapist

About the role

As an Oral Health Therapist at Blaxland Dental, you will play an integral role in the long-term oral health of our patients. Depending on your scope of practice, experience and interests, your role may include comprehensive hygiene and periodontal care, periodontal assessment, diagnosis and maintenance, AIRFLOW® treatment and preventive care, oral hygiene education and motivation, children's examinations and treatment, fissure sealants, fluoride therapy, radiographs, restorative treatment within your scope of practice, management of periodontal maintenance programs, working alongside dentists on comprehensive treatment plans, supporting patients undergoing orthodontic, implant and restorative treatment, identifying treatment needs and appropriately referring patients to the treating dentist, helping develop long-term preventive care programs, and creating a positive experience that encourages patients to return regularly.

• A qualified Oral Health Therapist with current AHPRA registration
• Professional, warm and confident
