HR Driver

We're seeking a reliable and professional HR Driver to join our team transporting scrap metal between customer sites and our recycling yards. You'll be trusted to manage your own run, represent the business on-site, and play a key role in keeping materials moving safely and efficiently.

About The Role

As an HR Driver, you'll be responsible for collecting and transporting scrap metal from customer locations to our processing yards. This is a hands-on position that combines driving, customer service, and basic material identification.

You'll work across a variety of sites and industries, giving you plenty of variety while providing opportunities to learn more about the recycling and metals sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operating HR vehicles safely and in line with CoR requirementsManaging daily runs - planning, timing, and making adjustments when things changeLoading and unloading materials safely and efficientlyGrading and identifying ferrous and non-ferrous scrap (training provided)Keeping documentation accurate and up to dateManaging bins at customer sites and flagging issues earlyRepresenting the business professionally at customer sites

To Be Successful In This Opportunity, You Will Have

Valid HR licence (this is non-negotiable)Solid understanding of Chain of ResponsibilityComfortable working independently and managing your own runGood communicator - you'll deal with customers on-site dailyCrane or forklift ticket is a bonus, not a dealbreakerBasic computer literacy for route and reporting systems
