Tax Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced qualified Tax Accountant to join our growing team in our Corlette NSW office.

Min 2-4 years Public practice Tax accounting firm experience essential.

The successful candidate will have:

• The ability to prepare all types of Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
• The ability to analyse financial statements and recommend improvement strategies
• The ability to use various accounting packages including, XERO, MYOBAE – Systems Service (Accountants Enterprise), MYOB AccountRight and essentials , Excel and ATO Tax Agent Portal
• Being an IPA, CA, CPA or registered Tax agent is an advantage.
• Enjoy dealing directly with clients and possess good communication skills

Skills required are:

• Entering financial data leading to completing P&L and B/Sheet, BAS and tax returns.
• Proficient in XERO, MYOB account right, essentials, MYOB AE tax. AE MAS (old Sol6}, EXCEL and Word (vital Skills).
• Further software such as Payroller, Xero payroll, Quickbooks and a problem solver is not essential but is an advantage.

THIS IS NOT A POSITION AS A COMPANY ACCOUNTANT

Position is Full time... work week is Mon to Friday... Maybe able to do some remote work on occassion

You will need good phone skills, dealing with clients and tax office

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
