Estimator / Project Co Ordinator

Our established Steel Fabrication and site maintenance firm is growing its clientele, and we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have to have previous experience in Steel Fabrication or a similar background, be organised, motivated, detail-oriented and self driven. About the Position

Responsibilities will include:

• Review and evaluate cost estimates 

• Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects

• Prepare estimates in detail for all products 

• Ensure timely completion of estimates and ensuring closing dates are met

• Understand scope of work to bid 

• Carry out site inspections

• Manage bid pricing from all vendors 

• Prepare cost analysis 

• Liaise with clients, and maintain a professional and open relationship with Clients throughout all aspects of the estimating process

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Mechanical or Structural Background

• Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, email, xero or similar 

• High level of interpersonal and communication skills

• Methodical approach including good time management, detail oriented, organisational skills

• Have Experience in a similar role
