Dental Receptionist – Be the Welcoming Face of Pure Dentistry

Every visit to Pure Dentistry starts with you, the face at the desk, the person who makes a nervous patient feel they came to the right place. If you've spent three-plus years being that person, we'd like to pay you properly for it.

Location: Pure Dentistry, Upper Mount Gravatt, Brisbane Southside (in the Village shopping centre) — with secure staff parking on site.

About Pure Dentistry

We're a QIP-accredited, multi-dentist clinic and are busy in the best way. Alongside general and children's dentistry, we provide sleep dentistry, IV sedation and implant treatment — which makes our front desk more interesting than most: real scheduling puzzles, callers who need genuine reassurance, and no two days that match. Modern systems (Praktika, AI-assisted clinical notes) mean your energy goes to people, not paperwork.

The role:

38 hours per week.

As our dental receptionist, you'll:

• Be the first hello — at the desk — and set the tone for every visit.

• Own the reception waiting area

• Turn worried patients into reassured patients — clear answers, kindly delivered.

• Handle payments, health-fund claims and end-of-day balancing with the accuracy this desk deserves.

• Keep follow-ups running so nothing — and no one — slips through.
  

What we offer:

• $40–$42 per hour + super, with your placement in the band reflecting your experience.

What we're looking for:

• Three or more years as a dental receptionist.

• Praktika (or similar practice-management software) experience is highly regarded; Prime Practice or Savvy Dentist training is a bonus, not a must.

• An Australian citizen or permanent resident — we're unable to consider visa holders for this role.

• A current driver's licence and your own car.

• Warm with people, exact with details — the combination this desk runs on.
