Accounts Receivable Officer

The Accounts Receivables Officer position is responsible for a range of functions including invoicing, receipting, banking, customer maintenance, debt write-off, planning, reconciliations and reporting. The person will require a good attention to detail and be able to work cooperatively in a team to achieve required outcomes. The role also requires the incumbent to take the initiative to solve problems and advise on ways of improving processes and practices relating to accounts receivable activities. 

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

• Relevant accounts receivable experience preferably in a government environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounts receivable practices and procedures.
• Good working knowledge of financial systems and finance operational activities for accounts receivables function is preferred.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 25 November 2026. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
