Cocktail Bartender

Paradise Bar Echuca is seeking an experienced Cocktail Bartender to join our small, high-performing team.

This role suits a confident, professional bartender who knows their classics, understands cost control, and can create exciting cocktails that align with a tropical, high-end venue.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality cocktails, excellent customer service, and maintaining strong operational standards across the bar.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails to a high standard

• Develop new cocktails in line with current trends and our tropical venue style

• Complete cocktail costings (COGs) for all new menu items

• Maintain accurate stocktakes and assist with stock ordering

• Work collaboratively with our restaurant and café teams to coordinate stock ordering and transfers

• Ensure food safety, hygiene, cleaning schedules, and temperature checks are maintained

• Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment

• Work independently when required and as part of a small team

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a high-end cocktail bar

• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and cocktail techniques

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• High level of English language proficiency

• Sound understanding of bar operations, stock control, and food safety

• Ability to work evenings and late nights

• Unrestricted Australian driver's licence and reliable transport

• Valid work visa required for employment in Australia

• Flexibility to work mixed shift patterns including days, evenings, and weekends

Highly Regarded

• Experience working in premium or cocktail-focused venues

• Confidence in menu development and creative cocktail design

• Experience working across multiple hospitality venues or groups
